My advice is simple. DO NOT USE THIS RETAILER.
I placed my order with A1 Gifts as they guaranteed next day deliver if you ordered before 4pm. I then get a call at around 5pm to say that they didn't process my order in time and so I would not be receiving my package the next day. That was therefore too late and it meant I didn't have a gift for an occasion. Whilst discussing my complaint, it became clear that they had to check certain orders with customers as they obviously have issues with specific orders/packages, and that this is not a rare issue. It also became clear that packages can go backwards and forwards between them as the retailer and the customer before the customer may actually receive the package.
The cap it all off, I spoke to the owner of the company, and they point blank refused to fulfill their guarantee by making arrangements to have the package delivered that day. In my mind, if the owner, who has ultimate power and freedom to think outside the box and take action to ensure that a customer is satisfied, does not care whether the service their company offers is up to today's standards then I would think carefully about whether I wanted to deal with them in the first place. Its just no where near good enough. There was a very clear and simply solution to the problem but the owner just chose not to send the package out that day.
